A Big candle rally was taken out from the district police office to Bhanugudi Center here on sunday evening as a part of the police martyrs week celebrations.
    Disrict SP Shri. Adnan Nayeem Asmi ,MP Smt. Vanga Geeta Viswanath, City MLA Shri. Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy have led the rally in which a large number of police personnel of all ranks besides the students of various colleges and elite of the city participated with much enthusiasm and deddication raising slogans in support of police martyrs.
    Disrict SP Shri. Adnan Nayeem Asmi holds meet with families of police martyrs in Kakinada. District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi promised the families of police martyrs that their problems would be addressed as soon as possible. He convened a meeting with families of police martyrs at SP office here on Sunday. He discussed about the welfare of martyred police families. He also enquired about their children. He said that all the benefits intended for them would be delivered without delay.  
    Kurasala Kannababu assured the families that he would speak with the District Collector for allotting land sites for them. He said that the police department would always stand by them in redressing their grievances as their bread winners sacrificed their lives. The sacrifices made by the police personnel would not go in vain, he added. Additional Superintendent of Police VS Prbhakar Rao, Deputy Superintendent of Police S V Appa Rao and others were present on the occasion.
